RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — One person was taken to the hospital on Sunday night after authorities say he was shot in a Richland County Walmart parking lot.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department said deputies were called to the Walmart Supercenter on Killian Road between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. They arrived and found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the forearm. A spokesperson said the victim was taken to an area hospital with injuries that aren't believed to be life-threatening.
Deputies are still looking for the suspect in the shooting and haven't publicly released any details regarding what led up to the shooting as their investigation continues.
