RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating a domestic incident that ended in a shooting on Friday night.
According to a spokesperson for the department, the shooting happened in the 5400 block of Bluff Road around 8 p.m. Authorities said a woman was shot multiple times to the lower body and taken to an area hospital, where she was listed as stable. However, her exact condition wasn't available.
The suspect, who was not hurt, was also found at a local hospital and met by investigators. Deputies arrested 39-year-old Braden Robinson and charged him with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Authorities said the incident was domestic, and there wasn't any known threat to the general public.
