RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Richland County authorities are asking the public for information following a shooting on Saturday night.
According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to the 300 block of Koon Store Road around 10:30 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Arriving deputies found two unresponsive men in a vehicle and are now investigating the case as a double homicide.
Coroner Naida Rutherford said Monday morning the victims were 40-year-old Corey Johns of Lexington and 37-year-old Jibaris Veal of Columbia.
