SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — Two people have been arrested after firing into a home in Sumter County back in July, according to deputies.
Sumter County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an address on Hilldale Drive at 1:34 a.m. on July 6, 2024 at the report of shots being fired at a residence. Upon their arrival, deputies observed numerous bullet holes entering the home where the resident had been sleeping
Dreyfus Dre’son Wells was arrested on October 15, 2024, and charged with discharging firearms into a dwelling.
The name of the second suspect is withheld due to their age, according to deputies. They have been petitioned to Family Court.
Wells was transported to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and was released after posting a $12,500 bond.
