"Armed and dangerous" suspect wanted in Sumter now in custody, deputies say

Hours after releasing the bulletin, deputies say they took Hill into custody.

SUMTER, S.C. — A wanted suspect considered to be armed and dangerous is now in custody, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators had asked the public for help to find 36-year-old Nicholas Hill on Wednesday morning. Hours after releasing the bulletin, deputies say they took Hill into custody.

Hill is wanted on charges of domestic violence high and aggravated, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain crimes, failure to stop for blue lights, burglary first degree, and bench warrants from both Magistrate and Family courts.
