The young victim was shot multiple times and died one evening in October 2020; now investigators need your help solving the cold case murder

JENKINSVILLE, S.C. — On October 24, 2020, at around 8:45 p.m., a young man was shot and killed near the intersection of Meadow Lake Road and Highway 215 South, near the Monticello E-Z Mart in Fairfield County. Sheriff's deputies responding to the scene found the young man lying near his vehicle in an old parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

For three years, investigators with the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) have tried to solve the case, to bring closure to the victim's family. Despite their efforts, the case has gone cold and only unanswered questions remain.

Now, FCSO is reaching out to the Monticello community for assistance in solving the murder of this young man. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward and help solve this case.
