Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Soda-City Comic-Con, Columbia's very own comics and pop culture convention, is this weekend. And we're helping you find out all the fun things you'll be able to do there. There's even a WLTX booth!

When and Where is Soda City Comic-Con?
The event takes place Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, located at 1101 Lincoln Street. Do I Need Tickets?
Yes, you will need to purchase one of those if you want to get in. Admission varies by day, whether you buy for both days, if you're a child, or if you want a VIP ticket.

Who are the Featured Guests at Soda City Comic-Con?
This year, there's some great guests, including comic artists, actors, and WWE wrestlers. One of those is a Midlands native Mike Colter, the star of the Netflix series 'Luke Cage,' who's making his Soda City Comic-Con debut.

Some of them will be appearing both days, while others will be just one day or the other. We should also mention some will charge for autographs and pictures too.

Come Visit the WLTX Booth!
You'll definitely want to check out the WLTX booth once you're there.
Here's the big thing: We'll be hosting Columbia comic book artist Sanford Greene from 1-4 p.m. Saturday! It'll be the only spot in the hall where you can find him. Sanford as worked for both Marvel and D.C. in his career, including a recent run on Power Man and Iron Fist. (Power Man is the other name for Luke Cage, who Columbia native Mike Coulter plays on Netflix.) Recently, he designed a special jersey featuring a superhero-ized version of the Columbia Fireflies mascot.
But that's not all: if you stop by, you'll see some of WLTX's on-air personalities, and we'll have some goodies to give out too. So please check us out!
