RIDGEVILLE, S.C. — An inmate at a South Carolina prison is being charged with stabbing to death one of his fellow inmates four years ago.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division say Donance Mayes now faces a count of murder.
According to a warrant, Mayes stabbed to death Dusaun Brown at Lieber Correctional Institution in Ridgeway. That's a maximum security prison in Dorchester County.
Officers did not say why it took so long to bring the charges against Myers.
