RED BANK, S.C. — One person is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and a dump truck in Lexington County.
The accident took place in the 960 block of Two Notch Road near Red Bank and not far from Interstate 20.
The accident happened around 11:35 a.m. Thursday morning.
Dallas Ashton Kalin, 23, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
According to the report, he was wearing a helmet traveling west when an oncoming vehicle turned left in front of him and his motorcycle collided with it.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The South Carolina Patrol is investigating what led up to the accident.
