Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police say a driver collided with another car, causing the other vehicle to crash into a downtown parking garage.
The collision took place at Taylor and Park Street at the parking garage for the South Carolina Bar.
Columbia police say a vehicle was speeding along Park Street and made an improper left turn, traveled across several lanes, and hit another car. The impact caused the second car to lose control and hit the garage.
The person inside that car was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the first vehicle was cited for driving too fast for conditions and improper left turn.
