BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. — Police in Batesburg-Leesville say they have located a woman that was reported missing over the weekend.
The department confirmed 26-year-old Desiree Nicole Shaw of Darien, Georgia, has been found.
On Sunday, family members told News19 that Shaw was in town for the South Carolina Poultry Festival and was last seen at Mel's Bar, located at 343 E. Church Street, on Friday. In a social media post, the business shared information suggesting that they last saw Shaw walking to a camper community nearby.
Shaw has dark brown hair and brown eyes and is about 180 pounds.
She has a tattoo that reads: "There's no better friend than a sister" as well as a tattoo of a bird on her right shoulder and a cross tattoo on her left leg.
She was last seen wearing a black shirt, light blue jeans, and white Vans shoes.
