Calhoun County, SC (WLTX) -- The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office released to News 19 dash cam and body cam video from Curtis Green's arrest last week.
Green escaped from Orangeburg County Detention Center nearly two months ago with two other inmates. Green was the third and final inmate to get put back behind bars. In the dash cam video released from the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office you can see the high speed chase for Green. It went from Calhoun County back into Orangeburg County where he was later arrested. According to one of the incident reports some of the speeds went up to 110 mph.
The Sheriff's Office also released one of the deputies who was involved in Green's arrest body cam. In that video you can see Green getting arrested and the multiple agencies on scene.
Orangeburg Manor Apartment complex was one of the locations where Green car jacked one victims vehicle. News 19 spoke to some of those residents about how safe they feel knowing this was in their backyard.
One resident didn't want her face on camera but said, "It scared me because I'm in the house sleeping at night. I don't know what's going on in my neighborhood, so anything could of happened. He could of came in and kicked anybody's door because he needed safety or shelter from anything. It just really scares me and really bothers me and I really don't feel safe at all."
Another Orangeburg County resident, Keendric Sackel said, "I worry everyday. I pray everyday for them you never know, never know when you leave the house when you'll be coming back in it."
Green had to two additional bond hearing last week along with the one help by Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office. One for the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety and one in Cahloun County. Both bonds were denied by those judges.
According to one of the incident reports he is now at Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County.
