Columbia Woman Threatened to 'Shoot' Public Official, SLED Says

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A Columbia woman has been charged in connection to threats against a public official.

Mariah Danielle Williams, 26, verbally threatened an investigator with the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation over the phone, according to a SLED report.

At times during the call, Williams is accused of saying she would "blast your a--" and "shoot" the official.

She was booked at the Richland County Detention Center and charged with threatening life, person or family of a public official.
