LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — The Lexington County Coroner's Office is investigating the death of a man following a call to a local manufacturing plant on Thursday morning.
According to a spokesperson, Lexington County Emergency Medical Services was called to the Michelin Tires facility on Two Notch Road around 9:30 a.m. where they found a man who was described as not conscious or breathing upon the arrival of first responders. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.
The Lexington County Coroner's Office said that it was still investigating the incident and could not publicly release a cause or manner of death as of Friday afternoon.
The coroner's office also has not released the name of the deceased.
