Columbia, S.C. (WLTX)-- A Columbia burglary suspect walked out of the restaurant's fridge, after police say a K-9 unit was called in to sweep the building.

The incident happened Monday at Zorba's Greek Restaurant on St. Andrews Road.

Lexington County Sheriff's Deputies say someone tripped the restaurant's alarm, and deputies responded to investigate. When they arrived they found a door to the business had been pried open.

A short time later they say 33-year-old Michael Davis surrendered. Deputies say he'd been hiding inside a walk-in cooler, inside the business. Davis is charged with grand larceny, second degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. He was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center, and has since been released on $66,000 bond.
