Columbia, SC (WLTX) — The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Sumter County until 2:15 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, just after 12:15 a.m., local law enforcement reported numerous roads flooded and impassable around Sumter.

Some areas that could be affected are Sumter, South Sumter, Mulberry, Oakland, Millwood, Pinewood, Cane Savannah, Lakewood, Privateer, Wedgewood, East Sumter, Cherryvale, and Stateburg.

Remember, if you come across a flooded roadway, do not attempt to drive through it or around it.
