Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Take a ride into the Christmas season as a popular 4D experience makes it's way back to the South Carolina State Museum.
So, if braving the Black Friday crowds aren't your thing, stop into the State Museum for a free viewing of "The Polar Express 4D Experience."
As part of a new Black Friday special, guests who purchase an Explorer 1 Combo tickets get a planetarium and/or 4D theater show, along with "The Polar Express 4D Experience" for free. The deal runs from November 23-25.
Can't make it to the museum this week? Don't fret! "The Polar Express" is showing until January 6. However, regular pricing will resume after November 25.
Also! "The Polar Express" isn't the only holiday show rolling into the museum this season. Guests wanting to learn about the mystery of "Christmas Star" can stop in the planetarium to see "Star of Bethlehem." And, if you're looking for a little music, "Laser Holiday" is set to some holiday classics, such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Deck the Halls" and "White Christmas." Both shows run until January 5.
The museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, but will resume normal hours on Friday.
