Lexington, SC (WLTX) A well known restaurant owner in Lexington county has died.
Robin Hudson, 60 was one of the founders of Hudson's Smokehouse, a favorite of locals and politicians.
The restaurant opened in 1995 on Platt Springs Road in West Columbia where, according to their website, Hudson was the cashier, the cook and the dishwasher the restaurant later moved to their current location on Hwy 378.
Hudson had been in the ICU at Lexington Medical Center.
A drop in will be held at Hudson's Smokehouse at 5 pm on Sunday November 2 for a celebration of life. A memorial service will take place on Monday, November 3 at Noon at the Lexington Baptist Church.
