Lexington County, SC (WLTX)- The South Carolina Department of Transportation says Interstate 26 Eastbound has reopened after a hole caused delays.

The problems began around 4 p.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes between Airport Boulevard and U.S. 1.
In a Facebook post around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, SCDOT said "Repairs are complete on I-26 eastbound in Lexington County at mile marker 112. All lanes are open to traffic. Crews had been working since Monday afternoon to repair this section of I-26 which was damaged by heavy rain."
