COLUMBIA, S.C. — Traffic is moving normally again on Interstate 77 in Columbia after a crash between a tractor-trailer and a dump truck.

The incident happened in the southbound lanes at Exits 9 A and B, which is the Garners Ferry Road exit, just before 10 a.m.

Troopers say a tractor-trailer and dump truck were traveling north at that location when the tractor-trailer struck the rear of a dump truck. The dump truck then overturned into the southbound lanes. There were no injuries.

Traffic was backed up for miles at that location, but by 11 a.m., some lanes reopened, and just after noon, troopers say all lanes were cleared.
