Columbia, SC - (WLTX) In a spirit of giving many people and organizations are finding ways to reach back into the community to help those in need. That's exactly what Jushi, a fiberglass company did today while they took part in feeding the homeless at Transitions homeless center.
James Lipscomb and eight other employees who work for the organization wrapped utensils, prepared drinks and served hot meals for those in need. Lipscomb says, "When I see a smile on their face that put's a smile on my face. We don't want to take from the community we've partnered wth several different organizations in the community like habit for humanity Salvation Army because we feel like that's just what we do."
The goal, well it's more than just a hot meal it's to give thanks for their blessings while being a blessing to others. Lipscomb says, "The people that we serve they're so grateful it really brings a smile to all of us just as much as it does them and Jushi wants to be a leader in the community and this is one of the ways we think we can do it."
