Irmo, SC (WLTX) - The Lexington County Sheriff's Department said a man drowned in Lake Murray on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies tweeted that the victim was recovered from Lake Murray near Palm Point Drive. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified him as 76-year-old Ramon Priestino.

Captain Adam Myrick said that the incident happened around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. He said family and friends were enjoying a day on Lake Murray, when one of the individuals went under the water and did not come back up.
The Department of Natural Resources, Irmo Fire Department, and Richland County Sheriff's Department also responded. Capt. Myrick said after a couple hours, they were able to recover the man's body.
Deputies do not suspect foul play, saying this appears to be a "very unfortunate, tragic accident." They are continuing to investigate.
