Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- North Carolina-based Larkin's Restaurants, creators of the popular Greenville eateries 'Larkin's On The River' and 'Grill Marks' - has set their sights on The Vista for their next new property.
Dubbed a "sophisticated burger joint," Grill Marks plans to open this summer at 711 Gervais Street, at the old City Market building, where a microbrewery is also planned.
The building is currently undergoing renovations.
The owners, Mark and Larkin Hammon, husband-and-wife proprietors of Larkin's Restaurants, along with one managing partner, began exploring options for a new location for their successful family-friendly dining concept.
After exploring different parts of South Carolina, and after much encouragement by regulars of their Greenville restaurant, they settled upon Columbia's Vista, going into the old City Market Antiques mall.
The average price range customers can anticipate are between $11.00 and $30.00, and the full menu is available on their website at www.marksburgers.com.
Judging their reviews on consumer-explorer apps such as Yelp, they will experience a positive reception when they open their doors in August.
