BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. — Beaufort County deputies are asking for the public's help to find a missing, endangered man last seen last week.

Deputies say 60-year-old Stanley Kotowski of Hilton Head Island has been missing from the South Sea Pines Drive area since Friday, August 16, around 10:30 a.m.

Kotowski, who stands approximately six feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds, has short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark, possibly gray, Coors Light t-shirt, dark shorts, possibly dark blue or black, and no shoes.

Deputies say Kotowski did not take any personal items with him such as his wallet or phone.

Since Kotowski was reported missing, deputies say search efforts have continued, including the use of K9s, helicopters, drones, boats and foot patrol.

Deputies say increased law enforcement may be observed in the southern Beaufort County areas conducting searches through residential and wooded areas. Residents should not be alarmed by their presence and are asked to not interfere with deputies as they search.

Deputies are asking residents of the area to review their cameras and personal properties for any sign of Kotowski.

If you see Kotowski or have any information as to his whereabouts, deputies ask you to contact the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office at 843-524-2777.
