SUMTER, S.C. — Sumter police are asking for the public's help to find a missing teen.
Police say 16-year-old Xy’Meria Nelson was last seen by family around 8 a.m. Tuesday and was reported missing Tuesday afternoon when she did not return to her home.
Nelson, who stands 5'6" and weighs about 220 lbs., has black braided hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing wearing black shorts, top and shoes.
