Emergency responders in Kershaw County were called to the scene of an accident involving a car and motorcycle Friday.
A motorcycle driven by James Lee Gardner, 46, was headed south toward Camden along Jefferson Davis Highway around 2:45 p.m. October 12 when a car headed north began a left turn off the highway.
Gardner was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
