Columbia, SC (WLTX) - There's a new seal in town, and she's from Texas!
Riley, a 7-year-old harbor seal, is the newest addition to Sea Lion Landing over at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. After making the move from Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Texas, Riley spent her first month getting acquainted to her new Columbia surroundings.
The zoo says the new seal and their 12-year-old male harbor seal Gambit got along "swimmingly."
She's now been introduced to the remaining five California sea lions at the exhibit, and is ready to take on Sea Lion Landing.
