EASTOVER, S.C. — Oner person is dead and another was transported to a local hospital after a single car accident near Eastover.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper William Bennett, the accident happened on McCord's Ferry road a little after 11am on Tuesday.
Trooper Bennett said that a 2013 Hundayi was traveling south on McCord's Ferry road, when it went off the road and struck railroad tracks, the car then went over and down and embankment, striking two trees and an utility pole.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was transported to Prisma Richland. Now word yet on their condition.
