COLUMBIA, S.C. — A fire broke out at a Columbia home around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
No one was injured, but the fire did extensive damage to the Ouida Street, according to Columbia-Richland Fire Department. Everyone was able to get out safely.
Officials say the fire started in the kitchen of the home. When crews arrived at the address, smoke was coming from the home and fire was visible.
The Columbia Fire Department 3rd shift crews put out the blaze.
The Richland County Fire Marshall is investigating what caused the fire.
