CAYCE, S.C. — A portion of the Cayce Riverwalk is closed due to structural damage that occurred during recent flooding.
The city said the portion of the boardwalk near the train trestle will remain closed for an "extended period of time." due to the unspecified damage.
"The City of Cayce highly values the safety of our citizens when enjoying our Riverwalk and we will reopen the boardwalk section once it is repaired and safe to do so," the city said in a statement.
The rest of the Cayce Riverwalk and Timmerman Trial remain open. The city asked for patience during the repair process.
