Plastic bags and a digital scale were also discovered during a further search.

“Methamphetamine presents an ever increasing public health and safety issue for Lexington County," said Eleventh Circuit Assistant Solicitors Matt Edgerton. "The job these Troopers do isn’t easy, it’s often thankless, and I applaud their continued commitment to ensuring the safety of Lexington County residents.”

Geiger opted to enter a guilty plea instead of going forward with a trial, which was scheduled to begin this week. His prior record includes methamphetamine and other controlled substances convictions.
