Richland School District One Is Hiring Additional Bus Drivers

Richland One is hiring additional school bus drivers and bus monitors for the 2016-2017 school year.

Richland One is hiring additional school bus drivers and bus monitors for the 2016-2017 school year.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma and pass rigorous South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) background checks. More details about the classroom training, on-the-road training and other training requirements and assessments are available on the district’s website, www.richlandone.org. Interested persons can complete the online application at pats.richlandone.org.

“Bus drivers and bus monitors are key to our students’ success,” said Kathy Joye, director of Richland One’s Office of Student Transportation Services. “We are focused on the safety of our students and dedicated to properly training and preparing the professionals on our transportation team.”
