RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — No major injuries are reported after a Richland School District Two school bush was involved in an accident on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials with Richland Two say a school bus carrying 29 Rice Creek Elementary School students collided with a vehicle on Hard Scrabble Road in front of Ridge View High School at about 2:45 p.m. today.
No serious injuries were reported but one student was transported to the hospital after reporting a headache. Two other students who complained of sore knees were released to their parents. The remaining students were evaluated by EMS and then boarded a new bus. Their principal is traveling on the bus as they are dropped off.
