RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Seven people are out of their home but uninjured after a large house fire that happened on Saturday night.
According to a spokesperson for the Columbia-Richland Fire Department, the fire happened around 10:30 p.m. The fire, at first, involved a garage in the area of Killian Green Court and Killian Green Drive - not far from the intersection of Clemson and Longtown roads. However, fire officials said the fire spread to the home.
In addition to heavy damage reported to the main home, a neighboring house also suffered some damage as well.
The Richland County Fire Marshal's Office is now investigating the cause of the fire.
