FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. — A man is in custody for his alleged attempt at cheating the lottery.
Rocshawn Farrcon Witherspoon, 38, is charged with trying to defraud the South Carolina Education Lottery.
According to a report, Witherspoon tried to claim winnings from two scratch-off ticket at the Sav-way on Ron McNari Boulevard in Lake City on January 14.
Those tickets were allegedly stolen from the Coward Truck Stop on Highway 52 in Coward
Witherspoon was booked at the Florence Detention Center.
