ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say no students or adults were harmed in a crash involving a school bus that happened on Thursday in Orangeburg County.
According to Corporal Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened on US-21, also known as Columbia Road, near Holly Creek Drive.
Tidwell said that, around 4:30 p.m., a 2020 Freightliner school and a 2018 Mack semi-truck traveling in opposite directions were involved in a collision. Authorities said there was a driver and four other occupants on the school bus. The semi-truck only had a single occupant - the driver. None were injured but debris from the crash hit another vehicle.
