RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff's Department says a missing child has been found and is safe.
The department said on Saturday that the 9-year-old went missing around 1 a.m. from her home, which is off Bluff Road. Investigators initially provided her name and a description of what she was last wearing. Family members told investigators that she didn't have a cell phone.
The department confirmed just before 7 p.m. that she was located.
