Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) - A search is underway for two suspects after a shooting at the Prince of Orange Mall in Orangeburg Saturday afternoon.
Officers say around 1:30 p.m., two men fired shots at another man, hitting the victim in the arm. One of the suspects then ran through the mall and got into a vehicle outside. The other suspect ran away as well and got into a red Dodge Charger.
Police locked down the mall, and Orangeburg deputies, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, K9s and public safety officers began a security sweep of the mall that did not turn up any additional suspects.
At 3:35 p.m., the mall was taken off lockdown, and shopping was allowed to resume.
Officers say the victim in the case is expected to recover. Police do not yet know what may have led up to the shooting.
