KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a person has died days after a crash in Kershaw County.
According to Master Trooper William Bennett, the crash occurred on Sept. 8 around 12:30 a.m. on U.S. 1 near Logan Road about one mile north of Camden.
Bennett said a 2005 Cadillac sedan was heading north on U.S. 1 when it struck a pedestrian that was walking in the northbound lane. None of the three occupants of the car were hurt. The pedestrian was taken to Prisma Health Richland for treatment but died on Wednesday.
The crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
