LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — If you are a resident of Lexington County, the county wants your opinion on how the county is -- or is not -- spending public service dollars and prioritizing your needs.

The 2024 Citizen Engagement Study is open for Lexington County residents to fill out online through December 20. Conducted every two years, the results of the survey are used to help County Council prioritize needs and plan a budget accordingly.

The survey can be taken online, but residents may also receive telephone calls with survey questions. All answers will be confidential and anonymous.

When taking the survey, Lexington County Council wants to remind residents it is responsible for public safety, law enforcement, public works, solid waste and libraries. They are NOT responsible for public schools, utilities, recreation, healthcare, or state agencies.
