LEXINGTON, S.C. — Lexington Police are warning drivers to avoid the area as crews respond to a fire in the Lexington Villas condominium community.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, police said crews were near the 1300 building on Laryn Lane due to a fire threatening multiple units toward the back of the neighborhood. Lexington Villas is located off of Whiteford Way.
Photos from the scene show multiple fire trucks at the location. A Lexington Fire Service spokesperson said two firefighters were taken to an area hospital for observation. Additional details on the fire weren't available at the time.
