LEXINGTON, S.C. — Shortly before 10pm Monday night, Lexington Police announced that Elva Hernandez had been found safe and is now at home.
Lexington police are asking for the public's help to find a missing woman with dementia.
72-year-old Elva Hernandez was last seen around 4:20 p.m. Monday afternoon on Citizens Drive near North Lake Drive. She was wearing a black, white, and grey sleeveless shirt, purple shorts, black shoes, and was carrying a black purse and walking cane.
Police say Hernandez has a history of walking in the area and has medical issues, including dementia and physical mobility ailments.
