ORANGEBURG, S.C. — The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing child last seen on Sunday afternoon.
According to a statement from the sheriff's office, deputies are looking for 12-year-old Zakia Yani Brown but are hoping someone in the public may have seen her.
Brown, who is from the Sheik Street area, was last seen around 2 p.m. in the 800 block of Carson Street. The sheriff's office said they believe she is wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, a black zip-up jacket, black and white zebra pants and "Bubba" slides.
