ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — One person is dead following a crash in Orangeburg County on Saturday morning.
Master Trooper Gary Miller with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on U.S. 21 (Rowesville Road) near Calhoun Street north of Rowesville. Miller said a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was heading south on U.S. 21 when it left the road to the right and overturned. The driver was the only occupant and died.
Miller deferred to the Orangeburg County Coroner's Office for additional information about the victim.
