Orangeburg County authorities search for missing 88-year-old believed in danger, last seen Friday

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Orangeburg County authorities are searching for a missing man they believe is also in danger.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office is looking for 88-year-old Marion Moultrie, who was last seen on Friday morning and may be in Charleston County. Family members told law enforcement that Moultrie, who is from the Cleckley Boulevard area, is showing signs of possible dementia.

Authorities said he was driving a white Honda van with a South Carolina license plate reading LGR-900. He is described as having a thin build and was wearing a brown jacket, black shoes and eyeglasses.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office urged anyone with information about Moultrie to call the county communications center at 803-534-3550.
