ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Three people are dead after a car accident in Orangeburg.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brandon J. Bolt, the accident happened just a little after 6 p.m.
A 2014 tractor-trailer was traveling west on Cross Creek Drive when, according to Highway Patrol, a 2002 Mustang with three people inside collided with the truck as the car was traveling on US 301.
Everyone in the Mustang was killed. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
The Orangeburg County coroner has not yet released the names of those killed.
The accident remains under investigation.
