SUMTER, S.C. — A woman reported missing on Friday after leaving a Sumter business has been found safe, police say.
The Sumter Police Department said in their initial post just after midnight on Saturday that the woman was seen leaving a Miller Road business around 6:30 p.m. the previous day.
Authorities confirmed around 10:50 a.m. on Sunday that she was located. No additional details were provided at the time.
