Sumter teen missing from local hospital

The child left Prisma Health Tuomey while being treated for an injury on Saturday, police say.

SUMTER, S.C. — Police are looking for a teen who left a Sumter hospital while being treated on Saturday.

Sumter Police said 13-year-old Jamar Rodgers left Prisma Health Tuomey earlier in the day. Police said he is about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. He has a bandage on his left arm and was wearing a gray and black shirt with a decal on the front. He was also wearing red, black, and blue pajama pants and black, gray, and red shoes.

Sumter Police urge anyone with information on his location to call them at 803-436-2700 or dial 911 in an emergency.
