Sumter, SC (WLTX) - The spokesperson for the Sumter County Sheriff's Office is on leave after he was arrested for DUI.
The highway patrol says they pulled Braden Bunch over on Broad Street just before 3 a.m Wednesday.He was initially pulled for an improper lane change, but troopers smelled alcohol and say Bunch admitted to drinking.
He was also driving a county vehicle at the time of his arrest, according to the sheriff's department.
Bunch has been the public information officer for the Sumter Sheriff's office since November of last year. Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis says Bunch has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
