Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - The wife of a doctor charged in a fatal shooting was found dead in her home Tuesday.
Vanessa Brooke Biery, 43, was found dead of unknown circumstances after her husband 46-year-old Adam Marcus Lazzarini reported her death on May 1, according to the Lexington County Coroner's Office.
Biery's body was found at a home on the 200 block of Hunters Mill Drive, the same location where 30-year-old William Player Holland died from a single gunshot wound to the chest on October 9, 2017.
Lazzarini, an orthopedic surgeon for Southeastern Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, is currently charged with involuntary manslaughter and obstructing justice charges in connection to that fatal accidental shooting.
An autopsy was conducted on May 3 at MUSC in Charleston, but the results are pending.
